Sophia Antipolis – Europe’s Leading Technology Park
Located just 20 minutes from Nice International Airport, Sophia Antipolis spans 2,400 hectares of natural landscape between the sea and the mountains. It is Europe’s largest technology park, home to 2,500 companies including major players in AI and digital technologies such as Amadeus, Accenture, IBM, Orange, and Symphony. The park excels in fields like the Internet of Things, Biotechnologies, and Earth & Energy Sciences.

Excellence Clusters and Research Laboratories
The AKTANTIS cluster unites more than 300 stakeholders: large corporations, SMEs, startups, research laboratories, and universities. It leads the way in microelectronics, digital security, IoT, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence.
The Region hosts 14 world-class research labs, including four focused on AI. Notably, 3IA Côte d’Azur, one of the four national Interdisciplinary Institutes of Artificial Intelligence, stands as a global center of excellence in the field of AI research and academic innovation.

Viva Technology (VivaTech) is Europe’s premier technology fair, bringing together startups, investors, executives, and media from over 174 countries, with 165,000+ attendees expected for the 2025 edition.
Region Sud will once again have a strong presence with clear objectives: enhancing the region’s visibility and showcasing its strengths in innovation and technology.
This year, 36 regional companies were selected to exhibit at the Region Sud booth. risingSUD will support you in networking with these companies and other key stakeholders during the event.
